However, we are accessible 24/7 for acute issues that may arise!

Yes! We will accept insurance, however, in order to give our members the time and attention YOU deserve, we are not able rely on insurance reimbursement alone. To do this pushes us into “assembly line medicine” and there is just no way to give the quality of care that we are committed to deliver. We work for you, we do not work for the insurance companies. This is why we still ask for a monthly membership fee. All of the usual deductibles and copayments will apply like it would at a traditional “insurance only” doctor’s office. We are currently reviewing ways to help offset this potential cost to the patient.

We are in the process of adding additional insurance payers. Please call or message us to confirm that we are currently accepting your insurance if you have any questions.

We do think it is important to have health insurance coverage. Our services are NOT health insurance. If you are unable to be covered with an insurance plan, we do offer a self-pay rate and traditional fee-for-service rates may apply. Just know, we are doing our best to provide top-quality care where value is fairly balanced with the cost to our members.

An HSA is a wonderful way to put aside money that is not taxed by the government. In turn, the money has to be used for healthcare-related expenses. Some HSA companies do allow the use of HSA money to pay for your membership fees for our service.  Some do not. Please contact your HSA company directly and ask them if they will allow you to use your funds to cover your membership fee.

Yes! Would you like to spend time with your doctor and/or nurse visiting in the comfort of your home instead of in the office? We do offer home visits at times as an option for our patients in Lexington county. We can even travel to your home if you are outside of the service area, though additional charges may apply.  As we add on providers we anticipate being able to offer a broader geographical range of service.

Yes!  We have a very special solution for telemedicine services.  The last thing we want to do when we are sick is leave the house and go anywhere!  We believe that telemedicine will never be able to replace a true in-person encounter.  However, we also see telemedicine as a powerful tool to efficiently deliver care in a way that is very convenient to you.

The largest drawback has been the inability to collect vital signs and perform a quality physical exam.  Our solution?  With a one-time onboarding investment, we provide you with the tools necessary to obtain vital signs and even physical exam data like lung sounds, heart sounds, videos and pictures of ears, nose and throat, skin lesions, and more!

You will be able to rest knowing that even your virtual visit time with us is top-quality.  And no more having to come into the office just for the doctor to listen to your lungs when it can be done from home!

This is a difficult subject and is complicated to address.  Simply put, we do our very best to provide the lowest costs to our members without sacrificing quality of care.  With economic inflation on the rise and insurance companies driving the field of medicine we have to partner with our members and stand up to these challenges.   Being able to bill insurance helps to keep the lights on and the services going, but there is no way we can rely solely on insurance and still give the time and care that we are committed to provide.

Here is where we ask you to help us, help you.   We ask that you look at it two ways:

  1. You are investing in your health.  With the Telehealth onboarding investment, you get innovative and totally awesome equipment to ensure the best quality Telehealth services possible.  With the monthly membership dues, you are gaining/maintaining access to your ever-expanding personal care team who is committed to you and helping you live your best life!  And we are personally reaching out to every service we utilize to ensure we are partnering only with the best-of-the-best in our community.
  2. You are investing in us and our service to you!  Every member of our team is dedicated to you and your family.  Our team members rely on you to invest in us so that we can also enjoy our lives and our families!  While we understand the business principles to operating this service, we also understand that our service is based on relationship.  We not only want to take care of YOU, but we also ask you to help us take equally good care of our employees and team members.  Know that just as much as we are supporting you, you are supporting us!

We have researched, and when looking at similar services, we believe our pricing structure is fair, reasonable and even customary when comparing.

Here it is:

Your telemedicine onboarding investment package is $349.00.  This a one-time cost and only one is needed per household.  This gets you the appropriate equipment used for setting up top-quality telemedicine services.  We have demos in the office if you want to stop by to see for yourself.  You will be impressed!

Monthly membership rates

Ages 19 – 99 = $99.00 per month

Ages 100+ = $1 per month (you guys have earned it!)

* Family discounts apply.  Oldest family member is at full rate, additional family members of the same household are given a discount of 20% the membership rate above as long as the primary member maintains an active account.

We will be publishing itemized fees for additional tests and procedures.  These are typically covered by insurance, and if you do not have health insurance, we do our best to keep your costs as low as possible through preferred client pricing.

Yes! We are happy to schedule you for your appointments as needed. We can see you in the office, in your home, or over video on your phone or your computer!

Absolutely! We will do our best to see you same day, and at the very least, have your doctor speak with you on the phone, video chat, or text message to determine the best course of action for your acute condition. You will have your doctor’s personal cell phone number!

No. Unfortunately, our current doctors are not certified in the treatment of the pediatric population. However, adult children of our patients are welcome and even encouraged to participate in the benefits of a membership with our service!

Refills of your long-term medications are handled as quickly as possible. Typically within 1-2 business days.

Also, our unique partnership with the pharmacy allows for synchronization of your refills so that you only have to make one trip a month. Or better yet, in most instances, we are happy to synchronize all of your routine medicines into 90-day supply and have them shipped directly to your door!

Yes! We are happy to schedule you for an adult physical requested by your graduate school or employer.

As your primary care provider, we believe it is our role to be the hub of your care team. This includes submitting referrals to specialists on an as-needed basis. We are strategically selecting specialty physicians within our community to provide the best care possible.

If you are admitted to the hospital, we remain available to you. We will do our best to communicate with the hospital doctors, you and your involved family members to make sure we are all working together as a team. Our doctors will be attempting to credential with the local hospital systems so that they will each have direct access to your records and to the providers within the hospital system!

Yes! We can collect blood and have needed tests ordered and specimens sent to our lab partners. We are working towards bringing additional testing in house to expand our point-of-care services. We also have special pricing established with our lab partners so that if something is not covered by insurance (or if you are uninsured), this guarantees you the lowest price possible!

Your doctor will offer ultrasound screening services on-the-spot when appropriate, however, we do not offer Xray, CT scanning and MRI services in house. We are working towards partnership with a mobile imaging service. Additionally, we are partnered with multiple local imaging services to ensure timely and convenient imaging services as needed.

Yes! We perform many procedures such as skin biopsies, laceration repairs, abscess drainage, ingrown toenail removal and more. If it is something that we cannot provide in the office, we will make sure we refer you to the proper provider partner who can.  Some office procedures may incur additional charges, but we will continue to minimize your costs where possible.

Absolutely! We believe that medicine is very powerful, and we completely respect it. We do focus on preventive medicines, but we do also manage medicines for any chronic condition as a traditional primary care doctor does. We do believe “less medicine is best medicine” and actively work with each member to come up with a strategy to manage your chronic health conditions. We work closely to determine the root causes of illness (Integrative medicine) and offer alternative ways to improve health aside from using medicines alone (Functional medicine).

Yes and No. We do allow for management of chronic pain up to a point. In our comprehensive approach to tailoring our care plan to you, we will discuss complementary non-medicine treatments when it comes to addressing pain. We are able to manage low doses of pain medicines with strict guidelines in place, however, if you require pain medicines above the allowable threshold, we will have to refer you to a pain management specialist.

Yes!  We do manage ADD and ADHD.  You may be required to have an initial assessment by an independent qualified provider, however, we are more than happy to help you manage this condition.

Yes! Our doctors have particular interests in the field of hormones and peptides and are very much able to provide the assessment and management of hormone optimization therapy.

Yes! We are currently working towards re-vamping our aesthetic services to include botox, fillers, sclerotherapy, IV hydration and vitamins and more! Insurances do not cover these types of services, however, as a member, you will have access to discounts and promotions not available anywhere else.

Our doctors are very open-minded and well-rounded practitioners. They are happy to discuss these on an individual basis and if safe and appropriately supported by good theory and data, they are happy to work with you regarding whatever your may be interested in. If for some reason your doctor is unable to provide a particular therapy, he/she will work closely with you to find a competent and experienced provider with who you may develop a relationship.
