Baked Pears with Vanilla & Almonds

Pear, halved and cored1 eachRipe but firm
Vanilla extract½ tsp 
Cinnamon½ tspGround
Honey, local1 tspWarm slightly if thick
Almonds, sliced & toasted1 tbspToasted for crunch

Instructions

 
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Arrange pear halves in a small baking dish, cut side up.

  3. Drizzle with vanilla extract and honey. Sprinkle cinnamon evenly over the pears.

  4. Bake for 20 minutes, or until pears are tender when pierced with a fork.

  5. Sprinkle with toasted sliced almonds before serving.
