As the Manager of Culinary Operations for Knuckle Sandwich, the brainchild of Guy Fieri, he’s been traveling coast-to-coast—launching new restaurants, crafting innovative menus, and coaching teams to deliver excellence in every bite.

But he doesn’t stop there.

In 2024, he launched Cooper’s Kitchen Caddies, a creative consulting venture helping some of the Midlands’ hottest restaurants—like The Robinson Room, 518 Smokehouse, and The Grand—level up their menus and plan unforgettable dining events.

Before that, Chef Jonathan served as Executive Chef at Smoked, where he wowed guests with elevated dishes featuring wild game, seafood, and perfectly paired wines and spirits.

And let’s not forget his competitive edge—he proudly represented South Carolina in the World Food Championships, going head-to-head with 400 teams from around the globe and earning Top 10 and Top 25 finishes in 2021 and 2022.
